Vatican Dicastery for Culture and Education

Rev. Antonio Spadaro, S.J., was appointed undersecretary for the Vatican's Dicastery for Culture and Education in September 2023. Before that he served as the editor in chief of the Jesuits’ biweekly review, La Civiltà Cattolica, a post he assumed in 2011. Fr. Spadaro is an accomplished author who has written extensively on issues at the intersection of the Catholic Church, technology, culture, and politics. He has also served on the Georgetown University Board of Directors.
